The Grand Reopening
July 14, 2021
On June 30th we finally reopened our doors to the public, and we couldn't be more excited to see our centre come back to life with the help of our fantastic community and visitors.
Of course, during the closures our artists and galleries continued to work away and create beautiful new artworks, which you can now come and see for yourself throughout the Mill. Be sure to check out our shows page to see what exhibitions we have going on. Right now there is a show up in Headwaters Gallery, "Cadence of Art," work by July Featured Artist in Noodle Gallery, and a really interesting collaborative show between Karen Brown and Steve Sestic titled "Nature Re-Designed" in the Falls Gallery. Take a walk through the open studios upstairs to see what gems the artists have up on their walls, too!
We also have several special events coming up in the Mill and within the grounds as COVID restrictions slowly lift. Keep up with our events page for updates on fun things to do at the Alton Mill, like concerts, exhibition openings, and more!
Under current restrictions we are operating at 50% capacity. Masks are still required indoors and we ask you to sanitize and fill in contact tracing info upon entrance. We are committed to ensuring safe and relaxing visits.
Thank you to everyone for hanging on throughout the shutdown, and welcome back!
