The Pond Gallery, Alton Mill

Join the artists of the Alton Mill Arts Centre November 24 for a magical evening! Studios and galleries will be open late as the artists invite guests to browse their work and one-of-a-kind gift ideas. In the Pond Gallery there will be a silent art auction with select pieces from Alton Mill artists. Proceeds from the auction will go to benefit Family Transition Place. There will be festive goodies and a cash bar available during the evening.  The event will kick start the holiday season at the Mill.

Now with over 40 Silent Auction Items! From pottery to photography, from jewellery to scarves not to mention paintings to fit all wall and wallet sizes. Some starting bids as low as $10.00!

•A Very Jazzy Christmas - Acoustic Traditions presents Music at the Mill featuring Indigo Riff
Warm up to the sounds of Jazz for the holidays! Come to the Millrace Room at the Alton Mill on Friday December 9, 2011 for an evening of music and libation.  Doors Open at 7:00 pm Tickets: $15, available in advance at Acoustic Traditions (519-942-8258) or at the door. Cash bar and food provided by David’s of Erin.

•Holiday Photos with the Grinch - Saturday & Sunday December 17 & 18, 2011 from  1–4 pm
Bring the kids for professional portraits with a twist! $10 and up.

•A Christmas Carol – LIVE THEATRE - Sunday December 18, 2011 Starts at 2 pm.
Humber River Shakespeare Co. offers up a rollicking rendition of this Dickens classic. Reserved seats at humberrivershakespeare.ca or PWYC at the door.
