Nancy Moore has a great smile and her laughter is like a burst of energy floating up into the sky. How fitting that her beautiful and textured creations are like bursts of colour and joy that energetically pop off the walls. Nancy is Noodle's featured artist for the month of April.
Artist Statement:
As an artist, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to paint and draw without boundaries. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums working mostly in acrylics. My style is largely experimental with an emphasis on landscape and figure abstraction. I never set out to replicate an image but instead strive to convey a mood or evoke emotion using loose lines, rich texture and bold colours. In the future I would like to paint full time and enter international shows, travelling across Canada and beyond.
