The Alton Mill is pleased to take part in Headwaters Taste of the Harvest from October 5 - November 4, 2017, with a variety of autumnal tastes and fall activities, beginning with a delectable Harvest Menu from Gourmandissimo Café:

- African sweet potato peanut soup (Vegan, GF)
- Squash & roasted red pepper soup (Vegan, GF)
- Double smoked bacon “Rock Garden” corn chowder (GF)
- “Albion Orchards” Apple & Brie on croissant press
- Turkey, shaved corn & roasted root vegetable stew (GF)
- Thai sweet potato, chickpea cauliflower coconut curry (Vegan, GF)
- Pork loin with apple & cranberry stuffing served with spiced sweet potato and Brussel sprouts
- “Black Knight” Sausage and apple stuffed acorn squash
…and a little something sweet
- “Dixie Orchards” Apple cinnamon scones
- Pumpkin Cheesecake Cups (GF)
- Whole-wheat apple walnut muffins & loaves
- Pumpkin cranberry muffins & loaves

Taste of the Harvest also includes the 8th Annual Empty Bowls, a fundraiser for local food banks where you can enjoy specialty soup and keep the hand-crafted bowl, and a number of autumnal themed workshops with CJ Shelton; Fall Reflections Watercolours Workshop, Fall Leaves Mandala Workshop, All Hallows' Eve "Witches Ladder", and Gathering the Harvest.
