The Alton Mill Arts Centre’s combination of art, heritage, and modern amenities provide the perfect environment for a truly unique party, fundraiser, or wedding. The historic setting provides an inspired environment for meetings, workshops, presentations, exhibitions, photo shoots and performances.

Gallery Exhibitions

The Falls Gallery is an ideal venue for special art exhibitions and workshops. Art groups and individuals can lease the walls of this gallery - or of the Millrace Room - for multiple weekends, or for a month at a time.

Studio & Retail Leases

The Falls & Pond Gallery are available for monthly art shows. All studios and shops are currently rented but occasionally one comes up at the Alton Mill; please put your name on our waiting list to be notified of a vacancy.

Event Spaces

The Alton Mill offers a variety of unique indoor spaces for gatherings of groups from 8 to 120 people (we're able to accommodate more outdoors). The Mill can be used in part, or in its entirety, the configuration only limited by your imagination. For more information about our event spaces...

Food & Other Services

A variety of food types and price ranges are available from from our list of preferred caterers. Not only are these caterers familiar with the facility, more importantly, we know from experience that they meet our high service standard expectations. In exceptional circumstances only, you can also bring in your own caterer for an extra fee.

The Alton Mill has a variety of furnishings and equipment available for rent for your function. And within the building there are several on-site service providers such as floral and jewellery designers who can help make organizing your event as seamless as possible. We can also recommend and arrange for other local service providers. We can also provide an event co-ordinator to take on co-ordination of your entire function if you wish.
