We've Gone Virtual!

The Alton Mill's studio artists are now offering online virtual learning and workshops and our galleries are accessible online. Here are a few of their initiatives:
 
 
Headwaters Arts has posted a virtual gallery tour of their "Inspired By..." show at headwatersarts.com, and they are working on enabling an on-line auction in support of Headwaters Health Care. Keep an eye out for it later in May.
 
CJ Shelton
CJ is a seasoned arts educator who has moved classes online.

Michele Johnston
Spreading Hope-one paintbrush stroke, one peaceful thought, at a time.
Michele is offering a live painting class streams, in two different formats:
1. 30-minute time slots are available via Facebook live (10am-10:30am each day)
2. on ZOOM, 2pm-3:30pm on selected days.

Noodle Gallery put up a fantastic show of featured artist Lori Burke just before the shutdown. You can still view it at http://noodlegallery.com  Noodle is also incredibly active and engaging on Instagram. Check them out and follow them for inspiring ideas.

While The Hive encaustic studio is temporarily closed, Kim Kool is offering Individualized Creative Planning sessions, in which she helps people tease out their creative interests and set some gentle goals around how to achieve them. While there is a modest charge for most, Kim is offering these sessions during the During the Covid 19 pandemic free for families of, and individuals with, developmental differences, women in or connected to our shelter systems, and women engaged with our justice system.
