Passionate about art, Antonina uses oil medium to express her essence. Inspired by impressionism, she uses colour, light and space relationship as a tool to capture the beauty and charm of the nature. Painting mostly wet in wet, the colour harmony created by emotional charge and experience of scenery.
She has a vibrant colour sense with crisp and deliberate brushwork which makes her work so appealing. “Plein Air” painting is a form of a meditation, philosophical thinking and balancing. She sees the vibration of lights and turns it into moving pattern of colour and captures the moment.
Antonina is a member of Headwaters Arts and a former president of Palette and Pencil guild at Credit Valley Artisans.
