Working in oil, acrylics and graphite, Karen depicts a number of subject matters from still life to portraiture in a realistic style. In particular, she has a special passion for creating personal custom paintings that include children, families, pets, cherished mementoes or any special occasion, that would bring an added glimpse of family history to the painting. The end result is a unique composition that reflects life as we know it in this century. Even very old photos can be transformed into a delightful painting or drawing and will maintain a meaningful place in the family gallery.
