Mark Grice is a full time artist at the Alton Mill. A graduate of Sheridan College's 3 year Illustration Program, Mark's teaches painting in the Bridge studio workshop. He offers a variety of formats including Painting Parties, Group Painting activities, Girls Night Out, private and group lessons. He also has some of his own artwork on display and for sale in the studio .
Mark is proficient in a variety of media and welcomes commission work of all types. Portraits of people and pets, architectural, landscape, abstract etc.
Much of Mark's own work reflects his interest and knowledge of horses. Mark was a full time professional horse trainer for 30 years before setting up shop in the Alton Mill.

The Bridge Workshop is the ideal location to pursue your creative dreams. Looking out towards Shaws Creek, this funky space inspires the artist in all of us. Artist/instructor Mark Grice provides regular classes, painting parties, and group art activities in a variety of mediums. Everyone, from the total novice to the seasoned artist, will enjoy the opportunity to express themselves in a supportive, comfortable atmosphere while learning the tips, tricks and shortcuts to creating satisfying results.Classes include:
• Acrylic Painting for Adults
•Special one-day workshops, life drawing groups, and on- or off-site art projects for Corporate or Family events also available.
