Sheri Bishop is a successful entrepreneur with a strong creative sense. As owner of the Shaw’s Creek Café here at the Mill, and the popular With the Grain Bakery & Cafe in Guelph, Sheri emphasizes handmade artisanal breads, fair-trade coffees and local food. As a weaver, she creates one-of-a-kind treasures for the home, combining functionality, beauty and the sustainable warmth of wool and other natural fibres. Her love of weaving and the use of wool were fostered by a childhood sojourn in Scotland, whose stones and heather still influence her colour palate today.
