Mother's Day at the Alton Mill Arts Centre

Celebrate Mother's Day in style at the Alton Mill! Gallery Gemma hosts "The Pearl Godess" Betty Sue King Friday May 9 and Saturday May 10 from 7-9pm. Attendance is free but reservations are required. Join artist CJ Shelton for her signature "Art in the Round" workshop a day of creativity and artistic play for all ages and abilities May 10, 11. 1 - 4pm. 

Ecaustic painter Andrea Bird will be giving guests the opportunity to learn about the ancient art of painting with bees wax at "Give it a Whirl" Sunday May 11 from 1-4pm. And to top it all off, Shaw's Creek Cafe will have a special Mother's Day Menu featuring delicious shortbread, scones and muffins for you to enjoy while you take a break from workshops and perusing the art galleries and shops.
