About
Michele is a self-taught artist who has been exploring The Arts from a young age. Training under fine artist Rosemarie Armstrong set Michele on her journey as a painter. She works mostly with acrylics, but loves incorporating natural materials in her paintings and creating multi-media works.
Her connection with the natural world is her inspiration, and much of her work is driven with the intent on speaking on behalf of Mother Earth. She was proudly a part of Artists Against The Mega Quarry and Soupstock, where she sold several paintings.
Michele holds an honours degree in psychology and social work. She was an educator for over 20 years. Part way through her teaching career she decided to train in Expressive Arts Therapy. It has been her dream sicne to integrate the powerful forces of The Arts and Nautre to help people with Personal Transformation. She is now owner of Monarch Mentory Academy-School of Creative Transformation.
Michele uses an intermodal approach (music, movement, visual arts, play, drumming, writing, poetry, nature connection etc.) to help people with Self-Discovery, Self-Expression, and creating a positive change in their lives. She considers herself a Spiritual Companion; a Healing Arts Practioner.
